Condor Agate Cabochon

This is a relatively new lapidary material as it was found in 1993 in the mountains near San Rafael, in the Mendoza Province of Argentina.

The cabochon measures 32 x 25 x 6.9 mm.  It has a girdle height approx. 2.7 mm and is sloped at 5 degrees for ease in setting.  The back is also polished.
