Red Moss Agate Cabochon

Red moss agate is named for the red like pattern in the rock.  Most of the material comes from northern Mexico.

The cabochon measures 50 x 19 x 5.5 mm.  It has a girdle height approx. 2.4 mm and is sloped at 5 degrees for ease in setting.  The back is also polished.
