Aqua Tinted Moroccan Ghost Seam Agate Doublet Cabochon

Moroccan agate is found in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.  The doublet is backed with black obsidian.

Doublets are 2 stones glued together.  We use a colorant in the epoxy while gluing the two stones together.  The clear agate allows the color to show through to create a unique cab.

The cabochon measures 36 x 13 x 5.1 mm.  It has a girdle height approx. 3.9 mm and is sloped at 5 degrees for ease in setting.  The back is also polished.
