Rhyolite Cabochon

Rhyolite is the silica-rich of volcanic rock which is found in many places around the world.

The cabochon measures 37 x 20 x 5.2 mm.  It has a girdle height approx. 2.3 mm and is sloped at 5 degrees for ease in setting.  The back is also polished.
