Colbaugh Obsidain & Pink Calcite Cabochon

This material is made by Colbaugh Processing in Kingman Az.  the Compress and heat stone chips together with resin to produce this material.  The resin is brass colored.

The cabochon measures 28 x 17 x 7.5 mm.  It has a girdle height approx. 3.2 mm and is sloped at 5 degrees for ease in setting.  The back is also polished.
