Million Souls Mine Fossil Coral Minerals Cabochon

This fossil coral comes from an area north east of Tampa Bay Florida.  The material is heated to bring out the colors.

The cabochon measures 58 x 18 x 7.9 mm.  It has a girdle height approx. 3.4 mm and is sloped at 5 degrees for ease in setting.  The back is also polished.
