Jaspillite Cabochon

Jaspillite is a mix of hematite and red jasper. It comes from Michigan.

The cabochon measures 34 x 21 x 6.8 mm.  It has a girdle height approx. 2.2 mm and is sloped at 5 degrees for ease in setting.  The back is also polished.
