Tiffany Stone Cabochon

Tiffany Stone is actually opalized fluorite.  It comes from only one place in the world, the Brush Wellman Beryllium Mine in the Sevier Desert of western Utah.

The cabochon measures 33 x 18 x 6.5 mm.  It has a girdle height approx. 2.6 mm and is sloped at 5 degrees for ease in setting.  The back is also polished.
