Williamsite Cabochon

This stone is a variety of antigorite that is only found in the serpentine barrens along the Pennsylvania Maryland border.

The cabochon measures 27 x 27 x 5.8 mm.  It has a girdle height approx. 2.4 mm and is sloped at 5 degrees for ease in setting.  The back is also polished.
