Caddis Fly Agate Cabochon

This is called Caddis Fly agate due to it's similarity to Caddis Fly larvae.  It's actually a fossil palm root from Indonesia.

The cabochon measures 31 x 19 x 6.2 mm.  It has a girdle height approx. 2.6 mm and is sloped at 5 degrees for ease in setting.  The back is also polished.
