Million Souls Mine Fossil Coral Cabochon

This material is found in an area of Florida northeast of Tampa.  It's fired to bring out more orange color.

The cabochon measures 35 x 26 x 7.5 mm.  It has a girdle height approx. 3.2 mm and is sloped at 5 degrees for ease in setting.  The back is also polished.
