Deschutes Jasper Cabochon

Deschutes Jasper comes from an area near the Deschutes River east of Biggs Junction.

The cabochon measures 49 x 10 x 3.5 mm.  It has a girdle height approx. 1.8 mm and is sloped at 5 degrees for ease in setting.  The back is also polished.
