Ocean Jasper Cabochon

Ocean Jasper is one of the most popular lapidary materials and is known for its orbs.  It is found along the shores Madagascar.  Good material is rarely found anymore so it's becoming harder to get.

The cabochon measures 38 x 23 x 5.5 mm.  It has a girdle height approx. 2.3 mm and is sloped at 5 degrees for ease in setting.  The back is also polished.
