Malachite in Quartz Cabochon

The green veins of malachite in the white/grey quartz makes for a striking cabochon.

The cabochon measures 32 x 19 x 5.2 mm.  It has a girdle height approx. 2.5 mm and is sloped at 5 degrees for ease in setting.  The back is also polished.
